I moved to Kenya, East Africa when I was 10 years old and lived there until I graduated from high school.  I married my high school sweetheart almost 25 years ago.  We have two children, Madelyn (22) and Toby (18). I was a teacher for 23 years before becoming a counselor last year. My desire to be a counselor was the need I saw among my students and athletes in the area of mental health.  This is my second year as a counselor and I love my job.  Poteet has allowed me to continue another one of my passions, coaching soccer. I am the Women's Soccer coach at Poteet High School and am enjoying it immensely.
