FFA
What is FFA?
FFA is a student-led leadership organization for those enrolled in agricultural education courses. It’s more than an extracurricular — it’s a life-changing program that fosters premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through hands-on experiences and student engagement.
FFA is a vital component of the three-circle model in Agricultural Education, which includes:
-
Classroom instruction
-
Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE)
-
FFA participation
At Poteet ISD, FFA activities are integrated into the overall student experience, providing opportunities to apply what’s learned in the classroom in meaningful and practical ways.
